Great popular science book on interstellar travel

This book assembles a number chapters on topics related to interstellar travel, written by different authors. The topics stretch from existing interstellar precursor missions such as Voyager and Pioneer to current exoplanet research, artificial intelligence, manned interstellar travel, and the art of interstellar travel. The chapters are easy to read. Complex topics such as neural networks in artificial intelligence are nicely explained. Numerous illustrations are included, although they are black and white.
What I liked most about the book is that it covers at the same time the basic issues of interstellar travel such as the destinations (near-by stars / exoplanets), propulsion systems and at the same time introduces inspiring topics such as ways how artificial intelligence could help us getting to the stars.
Overall, a very nice read as an introduction to interstellar travel covering an astonishing breadth of topics and at the same time provides a lot of food for thought.
